Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a nonprofit education group based in Boston looking to identify a Senior Accountant to join their team.

- Founded over 100 years ago and keeping up to date with current technologies
- On a small team, this role directly reports to the VP of Finance
- Located conveniently in the downtown Boston
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Performing bank transactions and monthly reconciliations
- Preparing support schedules and creating journal entries
- Assisting with month- and year-end close process including reviewing other general ledger activity
- Preparing schedules and supporting documentation for yearly audit
Background Expected of the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or +4 years of experience
- 3+ years in a senior accountant role
- Nonprofit or higher education experience is a plus

$75,000-85,000
