Join a company where your contributions help move the world forwardone shipment at a time.Functions Responsible for coordinating monthly close process for multiple locations/departments and multiple site/department accounting personnelOversees accounting operations or complex segments of the accounting function based on specific LLCReview financial data for completeness, accuracy, and compliancePreparation of complex customer invoices in accordance with customer contractsReconcile general ledger activity to customer billing for more complex accountsGeneral ledger balance sheet reconciliations utilizing Blackline Accounting softwareResponsible for monitoring and managing all aspects of the general ledgerPrepare and key journal entriesCoordinates the preparation of operating budgets by working with the Controller, General Manager, and Vice PresidentCommunicates with site accounting personnel and Vice Presidents on a regular basisResponsible for monthly analytics of site informationMonitors and assists site/department personnel with usage of financials systems and processesManages site accounting personnel and/or Accountants within the Finance departmentProvide support as a resource to Accounting Assistant I & II and Accountant I & II when troubleshooting workMay provide training or coaching on processes to Accounting Assistant I & II and Accountant I & IIProvide backup support to Accounting Manager and other team members as neededCoordinates accounting matters with other departmentsQualifications Bachelor's Degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Accounting or Finance requiredMBA or CPA preferred4-6 years of experience in corporate finance or accounting with prior experience in a leadership role preferredExperience with Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPointExpertise in ExcelProficient in use of accounting systems, Great Plains a plusCompetencies Business Acumen - Knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information affecting his/her business and organization.Communicate for Impact - Proactively communicate with all stakeholders throughout the life cycle of programs and projects.Influencing Others - Can quickly find common ground and can solve problems for the good of the organization with a minimal amount of noise.
