GHJ Search & Staffing is working with a fast-growing, consumer-focused company headquartered in Los Angeles who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its collaborative and high-performing finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a visible role with strong ownership, cross-functional exposure, and meaningful impact in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of public accounting and corporate accounting experience, thrives in a hands-on setting, and enjoys digging into the details while also improving processes.

What Youll Be Responsible For:

• Own key components of the month-end and year-end close process • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations • Perform flux and variance analysis across P&L and balance sheet accounts • Support financial reporting and assist with management reporting packages • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, FP&A, and external auditors • Assist with process improvements, documentation, and internal controls • Support audit and ad hoc projects as needed

What They're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience • Public accounting strongly preferred • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting • Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, inventory, or multi-entity environments is a plus • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.) • CPA or CPA-track preferred
