The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. This role partners closely with operations and production teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, cost control, and compliance with accounting standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accurate financial records, journal entries, and account reconciliations.Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.Manage inventory accounting, including inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and valuation.Analyze manufacturing costs, standard costs, variances, and production efficiencies.Assist with cost accounting processes, including bill of materials (BOM) reviews and overhead allocation.Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for management.Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and production teams to improve financial processes and cost controls.Assist with ERP system maintenance and process improvements related to accounting and inventory.Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.#J-18808-Ljbffr
