Senior Accountant

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely reporting of financial information through a range of accounting functions. The position contributes to core accounting processes, including close activities, reconciliations, and financial analysis, while assisting with compliance, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Execute month-end close procedures and prepare internal financial reports.
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Analyze financial results by comparing actuals to budget and forecast.
• Maintain and review internal control documentation and participate in control testing.
• Assist with tax-related filings and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
• Monitor daily cash activity and support cash management processes.
• Contribute to process improvement efforts in collaboration with accounting leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting, including month-end close.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools, with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Experience with ERP systems.

Salary Range: $100k - $110k
