Senior Accountant (PH based)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and streamlining accounts payable processes while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency. Reporting directly to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will support critical financial operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the accounts payable (AP) process, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.

• Monitor and maintain financial records in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains).

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Support audit preparation and collaborate with external auditors as required.

• Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: At least 5 years of professional accounting experience, with a focus on accounts payable.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is a must.

• Language: Excellent command of English (C2 rated).

• Cognitive Ability: High IQ (120+).

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

• Candidates must be a Filipino citizen
