We are hiring a Senior Agile HR Business Partner to support our C+AI organization. At Microsoft, our mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. In line with this, we are seeking aHuman Resources Business Parter (HRBP) to joinour newpooledAgile HRBPteam-the strategic engine of agility within the C+AI HR organization. This role willhave the opportunity to work on strategic initiativesfor one of Microsoft's most transformative business groups,helping evolvehow we deliver HRpartnershipat scaleandwith speed, consistency, and innovation.

Strength in building trusted relationships with leaders and the ability to leverage those relationships to diagnose and coach leaders on team, organization, and their own effectiveness is essential for this role.Experience in program and project management to ensure delivery of client-ready solutions - including initiatives geared at leadership effectiveness and manager capability and excellence is also critical for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Consulting:Combineinsights,strong stakeholder relationships,clear storytelling, AI fluency, andchange management to build alignment, influence decisions, and deliver sustainable organizational outcomesthat enable agility, growth, and innovation.

    • Organizational Diagnostics:Partner and consult with peer HR disciplines (e.g., Talent Management, Organization Development, HRBI) on leveraging the systems model, talent management processes/programs and interpreting results & data to build recommendations
    • Talent & Capability Development:Support initiatives that build future-ready capabilities, including succession planning, talent deployment, and leadership development.

    • Data-Driven Insights:Usedata, diagnostics, and crossbusiness insight to inform strategy, measure impact, and deliver equitable, scalable(where applicable)HR solutions that continuously improve how we work

    • AI-Enabled HR:Leverage AI tools and insights to enhance decision-making, streamline processes, and deliver repeatable solutions

    • Project Management:Partner with peers in the Agile HRBP team,business alignedHRBPs, CoEs,and business leaders to identify key strategic prioritiesand create long term sustainable solutions. Leadprojects from inception to successful implementation

    • Technical Solutions:Leverageanunderstanding of technicalsolutionsand productivity tools to develop and enhance innovative solutions that drive efficiencyin ways of working.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 4+ years experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, training, performance management)

    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 7+ years experience in experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, performance management)

    • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 8+ years experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, training, performance management)
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 12+ years experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, performance management)
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Human Resources Professional Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM, CIPD).
  • 4+ years experience with partnering with wide network of clients and across human resources to deliver effective business solutions.
  • Experience withlarge scalechange management

HR Business Partnership IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
