The Strategy & Analytics Senior Analyst’s priority at Barry’s is to support the organization in definingand evaluatingstrategic growth and optimization initiatives. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Strategy & Analytics, the Senior Analyst will collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Talent, Digital, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other departments. The ideal candidate is a data-driven thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment that often requires solving problems with ambiguity. This role involves contributing to high-impact strategic initiatives, leading analyses, managing multiple priorities and translating data into actionable recommendations that inform business decisions.
The Senior Analyst will contribute to all stages of strategic initiatives, from discovery and planning to implementation and performance evaluation, acting as a consultant and collaborating closely with key stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Strategic Initiatives: Support high-impact projects by conducting analyses and research, building financial models, and developing executive-level presentations that communicate key insights and business implications
- Advanced Analytics: Leverage data and conduct analysis to identify trends, quantify opportunities and deliver data-driven insights and recommendations that inform business decisions across functions
- Executive Reporting: Develop executive-level reports, dashboards, and summaries that provide leadership with clear visibility into business performance
- Partnership and New Opportunities Evaluation: Evaluate partnership and business development opportunities through market research, financial modeling, assessing strategic fit, value and potential risks
- Cross Functional support & Project Management: Partner with teams across the organization to understand business needs, manage cross-functional workstreams and coordinate project timelines and deliverables across functions
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience at a top-tier consulting, investment banking, private equity, or advanced analytics firm, or a similar role requiring strong analytical, financial modeling, strategic problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau); experience with Python or R is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, and drive initiatives from ideation to execution, balancing attention to detail with a strategic perspective
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences
- Interest in the fitness or wellness industry
- Must be available to work at our corporate HQ in New York, NY
