Senior Business/Financial Analyst - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Business/Financial Analyst for a hybrid position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Columbus, OH or Dallas, TX. This is a 5+ month contract opportunity.

Compensation: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our client's Business Management Office (BMO) within the Office of the CIO. This critical role will reinforce the existing team with both leadership and delivery of existing and routine deliverables while also looking for efficiency gains to scale. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with analysis in both Finance and Operations, preferably within a financial services organization, and will work closely with Technology teams and stakeholders to deliver operational reporting while improving the underlying structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage business analysis efforts for Technology, specifically expense management and budgeting
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Finance and Technology teams) to review new budget and approval to spend requests, to ensure alignment to existing financials
• Facilitate meetings, presentations, and updates for senior management and other key stakeholders
• Manage and update budget items throughout the year; able to analyze and understand changes and impacts based on movement in the budget
• Assist BMO team lead(s) by providing support and oversight to junior team members and assisting as lead when needed
• Ability to query databases, perform data validation, and troubleshoot reporting anomalies
• Act as a point of contact for the BMO, ensuring excellent customer service to internal stakeholders while balancing efficiency
• Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while understanding the underlying risks to help re-prioritize work
• Create new business processes and continuously improve upon existing processes, reports, and methodologies to increase efficiency and quality of deliverables
• Understand and communicate the key messages hidden in the data to face off with various Technology leaders

Primary Requirements:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in financial analysis within the banking or financial services sector
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong data analysis experience and knowledge of expense management and budgeting processes
• Able to lead and coach team members
• Critical thinker with strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple efforts concurrently while ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and work independently
• Strong background in Tableau and PowerBI, and familiarity with ServiceNow
