
Controls Engineer- Building Automation Jobot

We are seeking a skilled Senior Controls Engineer to design, implement, and optimize advanced control systems for dynamic chemical, and process applications.The ideal candidate brings a strong background in industrial (PLC based) control systems development, with applications across industrial processes, chemical and/or oil & gas operations.This role requires expertise in modeling, algorithm development, and real-time implementation to enhance efficiency, safety, and environmental performance of complex systems.Key Responsibilities Develop and implement control strategies for thermal, fluid, and chemical process systems including combustion, catalytic reaction, and energy conversion.Design, code, and validate control algorithms for real-time process applications.Support integration of main process control with equipment controllers (engines, compressors, etc.) and safety systems.Model and simulate dynamic systems using MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent tools to support control design and optimization.Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting in laboratory, pilot plant, or field environments.Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (mechanical, chemical, and electrical engineers) to ensure robust process and equipment integration.Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and validation procedures in line with industry standards.Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.5+ years of experience in process controls.Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, CAN, OPC).Understanding of control theory, real-time systems, and embedded software development (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++).Familiarity with oil & gas or energy systems: compressors, pumps, reactors, or thermal/fluid processes.Experience with internal combustion engine control (ECU) is a plus.Knowledge of process safety standards and applicable regulations (e.g., IEC 61511/61508, API, or OSHA guidelines).Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in multi‑disciplinary teams.Why Join Us Contribute to innovative energy and process control solutions spanning clean fuels, chemicals, and oil & gas applications.Work at the intersection of control systems and process engineering, enabling safer, cleaner, and more efficient industrial operations.Collaborate with a highly skilled team and gain exposure to cutting‑edge control strategies in both laboratory and field environments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
