Position Summary The Senior Dietary Aide supports meal preparation, tray-line service, dietary-order compliance, kitchen cleanup, and general food-service operations. The role is ideal for a candidate who is detail-oriented, comfortable in a busy kitchen, and able to follow portion, sanitation, and special-diet instructions accurately.
Key Responsibilities :
Dish appropriate food portions and serve meals on the tray line.
Prepare breakfast items, including toast.
Complete meal-preparation tasks such as chopping, cleaning, and slicing vegetables.
Prepare nourishments in accordance with diet orders.
Garnish food items and puree food for tray-line service as needed.
Assist with tray-line cleanup, dining-room clearing, and cleaning food-service equipment.
Clean diet cards and reset trays for meal service.
Help cover cook-related duties, including preparing salads and desserts, assisting with meal preparation, and completing next-day prep work.
Follow food-safety, sanitation, portion-control, and special-diet procedures.
