Senior EHS Specialist

We are seeking a Senior EHS Specialist to join our Environmental Health & Safety team, supporting our Technical Operations organization. In this role, you will lead Environmental Health & Safety programs, support regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with site leadership, operational teams, contractors, and cross-functional partners. • Work model: Onsite Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Discover your role:

• Lead Environmental Health & Safety programs, including Hazard Communication, Incident Reporting, Industrial Hygiene, and emergency response initiatives.
• Partner with site stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory agencies to maintain compliance and strengthen workplace safety practices.
• Conduct inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and Job Hazard Analyses to identify risks and implement effective solutions.
• Analyze incident, hazard, and ergonomic data to identify trends, develop action plans, and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and deliver EHS training, communications, policies, and procedures that build organizational safety awareness and compliance.
• Support industrial hygiene monitoring, waste management activities, spill response readiness, and contractor safety oversight.
• Lead or support incident investigations and corrective actions to reduce risk and improve operational performance.
• You foster a proactive safety culture through collaboration, leadership, mentoring, and continuous improvement.

This role requires:

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant Environmental Health & Safety experience
• Experience implementing and managing Environmental Health & Safety programs in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits, hazard assessments, Job Hazard Analyses, incident investigations, and corrective action planning.
• Experience performing Industrial Hygiene monitoring, interpreting exposure data, and supporting hazardous and universal waste management programs.
• Experience developing and delivering Environmental Health & Safety training, communications, policies, and procedures.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies and supporting inspections or compliance activities.
• Ability to analyze EHS data, identify trends, develop action plans, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, or leading employees, contractors, or EHS program activities is preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Availability to support emergency response activities outside normal business hours as needed.

Gowning and Physical Requirements:

• Full cleanroom attire (Examples may include: including laundered undergarments, gown, facemask, hairnet, safety glasses, safety shoes and booties, latex gloves and the use of sanitizing agents during gowning process including IPA)
• Ability to remove jewelry, make-up and nail adornments when wearing cleanroom attire
