AWS Finance seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support AWS, and more specifically its AWS Networking Services business. This position will work closely with senior finance management and key business partners to drive financial planning, decision support, controllership, and private deal modeling for several AWS Networking Services including CloudFront, AWS Global Accelerator, Perimeter Protection, Elemental and Amazon Interactive Video Service.

Key job responsibilities

Financial Modeling & Analysis

  • Own Pricing Models and enhance them for existing and new customers deals finalization.
  • Build out and enhance P&L models for new and existing services
  • Work on deal desk modeling private custom deals for key customers

Planning & Reporting

  • Drive the financial planning / budgeting process
  • Create, maintain, and improve management reporting
  • Develop business insights and dashboards
  • Compile and review financial results and operational plans

Leadership & Communication

  • Communicate results to company leaders
  • Partner with business and finance teams for Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews and forecasts
  • Work with product, capacity, and operations teams on opportunities and constraints

A day in the life

You will partner with business and finance teams to create and improve economic models to support MBRs, QBRs, and forecasts for the AWS Networking Services. You will also work with account teams on private deal modeling and pricing. You will gather insights and make recommendations to your finance and business partners based on revenue and profitability metrics. You will also partner with product, capacity, and operations teams to understand key capacity opportunities and constraints.
