In AWS Regions we develop strategies for infrastructure in new countries, look 10+ years down the road, oversee current region build-outs across new, launched, and ADC regions, and review performance of existing regions through their life-cycle. We work closely with senior leaders in cross-functional partner organizations developing and reviewing the strategic multi-billion infrastructure investments.
You will drive strategic FP&A initiatives including controllership functions, region-grain analytics, and Risks & Opportunities (R&O) including efficiency metrics to improve the quality and timelines of business insights provided to AWS and Amazon leadership, including ongoing efforts around existing process improvements.

This position will be responsible for driving monthly financial reviews and OP planning for early-stage and ADC regions, identifying key insights by connecting dots between various infra drivers across the business. The role will perform core FP&A and controllership functions including region-grain P&L management, R&O identification and tracking (efficiency metrics, cost optimization opportunities), and financial performance analysis.
The role will also support regions-wide consolidation and advisory, and drive several AWS-wide mechanisms in partnership with central and tech teams.
This role regularly interfaces with leaders of AWS Regions Finance, Infrastructure Finance, Accounting, Sales & Strategy teams and provides business and financial insights on regional performance that gets reported to AWS and Amazon senior leadership.
