Description
Our client, an investment management company based in Princeton, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team. This role supports portfolio performance analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting for a growing book of institutional accounts. The position works closely with senior leadership to translate financial data into actionable insights.
The ideal candidate has strong Excel and financial modeling skills along with experience in a corporate finance or investment environment. This is a full-time, on-site position offering direct exposure to senior decision-makers and a clear path for advancement within the finance organization.
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior management
Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting
Analyze portfolio performance and variance against projections
Partner with accounting to ensure accurate month-end close
Support annual budget preparation and reforecasting cycles
Present financial findings to leadership and department heads
Identify process improvements for reporting accuracy and efficiency
Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
5+ years of experience in financial analysis or corporate finance
Advanced proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and financial modeling
Experience with ERP or financial reporting systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
