We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global Pricing Finance team.

Pricing is integral to Amazon's ability to deliver on its everyday low price promise to customers. With millions of products available on Amazon, Pricing develops technology to compute and publish prices for every retail item in Amazon's global catalog, delivering competitive prices across full range of products and automating decision-making.

The Senior Financial Analyst will drive financial modeling, month-end processes, strategic analyses, free-cash-flow initiatives, and will standardize global pricing metrics. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical, financial modelling and planning skills. They will also possess strong business partnership and project management skills and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. The candidate will also possess the leadership to influence, bias for action, the passion to think big while driving business results, and developing a world class team.

Key job responsibilities

Manage and develop the financial planning and analysis processes for Amazon's Global Pricing team.

Work closely with pricing team to set up, execute and analyze pricing experiments to drive long term free cash flow.

Provide critical insights to the Pricing leadership team by owning weekly and monthly reporting processes.

Build and maintain in depth knowledge across key business areas by staying current on initiatives, challenges/opportunities across the business.

A day in the life

This role will own end-to-end financial reporting and analysis for pricing, working backwards from customer needs to deliver actionable insights. This includes building scalable financial models and conducting deep-dive analyses to uncover variance drivers and identify opportunities for optimization. The role will partner with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to implement best practices and drive standardization at scale. The role will deliver written and verbal communications that are data-driven, concise, and compelling to influence senior leadership decisions.
