Location: East Akron, Ohio – Monday-Friday
Salary: $70,000-$80,000

Position Overview

The Senior HR Generalist will oversee a broad range of human resources functions, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and HR process improvement. This role serves as a key partner to leadership and employees, helping support both day-to-day HR operations and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities (Senior HR Generalist):

• Partner with managers on employee relations, coaching, and performance management matters
• Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
• Administer employee benefits programs and support open enrollment activities
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and policy administration
• Assist with compensation planning, performance review processes, and employee development initiatives
• Support employee engagement, retention, and culture-building efforts
• Recommend and implement HR process improvements and best practices

Qualifications (Senior HR Generalist):

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of progressive human resources experience required
• Experience supporting multiple HR functions in a generalist capacity
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
• Distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or small company experience a plus
