Subject Matter Expert for J-STD-001/QCP 1568 solder training in areas include stripping, preparation and soldering of stranded and solid wires to PWBs and terminals
Tinning of components and PC boards, lead forming, assembly of PWB assemblies and installation of resistors and other electrical components using the specified documents, drawings and general requirements as well as meeting cleanliness requirements for soldering operations and other assembly operations such as epoxy/adhesive/encapsulant application
Help determine appropriate training content and objectives. Coach and mentor team members and leaders using Kulite/industry processes and procedures
Manage new employee and annual recertification practical training
Responsible for follow-up/remedial training and corrective measure training as well as limited certification training as determined by Kulite
Perform in-process solder inspection when training courses are not in session
Follow all Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Sandards. Other duties as defined by Supervisor.
Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED
A minimun of 5-years' experience in a manufacturing environment of various disciplines as well as training/instruction experience or capability
Previous experience with courseware and curriculum development is a plus
Reliable, driven, energetic, proactive and resourceful, self-motivated with a high level of focus delivering work of the highest caliber
Highly organized and able to work under pressure. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
