About the RoleCard-Monroe is looking for an experienced Senior IT Support Specialist to serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues across our organization. In this full-time, on-site role, you'll keep our hardware, software, and network infrastructure running reliably, supporting users in person and remotely, diagnosing and resolving issues from desktops and peripherals to systems and networks, and assisting with upgrades and deployments.This role bridges hands-on user support with advanced administrative work. You'll resolve critical incidents, automate routine workflows, take ownership of meaningful technical projects, and collaborate with our IT team to strengthen processes, security, and overall technology performance.What You'll DoAdvanced Troubleshooting: Serve as the technical escalation point for complex hardware, software, and system infrastructure problems, including managing help desk tickets.Network Administration: Oversee network administration tasks, including infrastructure monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable connectivity.Automation & Scripting: Develop, maintain, and execute scripts to automate routine operational tasks and deployment processes.Cloud Operations & Administration: Support cloud-hosted infrastructure components, user access management, identity synchronization, and cloud backup/disaster recovery protocols.Project Support: Take ownership of significant technical projects, including system upgrades and deployments, alleviating support burdens from the core engineering team.Team Leadership & Knowledge Sharing: Help junior team members grow, keep our technical knowledge well organized, and consistently deliver on service commitments.What You BringMid-to-senior level experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical fieldAdvanced troubleshooting methodology for enterprise hardware and softwareStrong foundation in network administration, configuration, and diagnosticsProficiency in automation scriptingFamiliarity with database queries and system integrationsExceptional communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skillsEducationAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.About Card-MonroeFor more than 40 years, Card-Monroe has been a world leader in tufting technology, building the machines behind carpet, rugs, and artificial grass used around the globe.
