As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the Consumer and Community Banking Administration - Consumer Banking Technology team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Job responsibilities
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
Hands-on practical experience in database system design, performing database development and performace testing and ensuring operational stability
Advanced in one or more programming language(s) and framework(s) (i.e., Tigergraph, Oracle, Sql Server, Aurora Postgres, CockroachDB, Mongo DB, etc.)
Perform proactive reviews of database implementations to enhance performance, efficiency, resiliency, and cost optimization
Experience supporting databases in DevOps and proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods
Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., for coding, code review, test acceleration, troubleshooting) with the ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations; experience coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption within delivery practices
Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle and advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
Demonstrate proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artifical intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
Demonstrate ability to perform database upgrades and migrations to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight

Practical cloud native experience
