Description
Our Building Services Division delivers owner-negotiated mechanical projects, including HVAC retrofits, working directly with building owners to modernize existing facilities.
We’re growing and seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager who can take ownership of complex work and help elevate how projects are executed.
In this role, you’ll manage ~$20M in active projects, bring structure to multi-faceted work, and help build, refine, and scale project management processes as the organization continues to grow.

Compensation:
Starting at $120,000 (negotiable based on experience) + $700/Month Vehicle Allowance and gas card for business purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage owner-negotiated HVAC and mechanical projects from planning through closeout, overseeing up to $20M in active work.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the project management team, including Assistant Project Managers.
- Establish and implement repeatable project management processes and best practices to drive consistency and scalability.
- Partner with sales teams, field leadership, and building owners to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain accountability for project schedules, budgets, and overall financial performance.
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience managing commercial mechanical or HVAC construction projects, including complex scopes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large project budgets and multiple concurrent projects.
- Solid mechanical background with hands-on knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and retrofit environments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and keep stakeholders aligned.
- Experience leading project teams and working directly with building owners, clients, or senior stakeholders.
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs, as needed.
- Ability to climb ladders and access job sites, rooftops, and mechanical spaces on an as-needed basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout job sites, including walking up to approximately 5,000 steps in a workday.
- Ability to safely operate, or be trained to operate, forklifts and other equipment as required for the role.
- Ability to distinguish colors as required for safety, equipment identification, and diagnostics.
