Senior Specialist, Program Management (On-site)

We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Program Management for a direct hire opportunity with our client. This position supports the Submarine Systems Programs team within Maritime Imaging Systems, managing program costs, schedules, and technical requirements while collaborating with operations, finance, planning, contracts, and supply chain teams.

• Lead cross-functional program teams to deliver projects on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
• Manage the full project lifecycle in accordance with contractual requirements and company standards.
• Support business development, including proposal management, proposal change control, and negotiations.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate program risks and evaluate opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with functional teams to establish priorities and resolve issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal leadership, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, export controls, including ITAR/EAR, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with at least four years of relevant experience; graduate degree with at least two years of relevant experience; or at least eight years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with government contracts, including DPAS ratings and FAR/DFAR requirements.
• Familiarity with Earned Value concepts for managing program cost and schedule performance.

Annual Salary: $130,000–$150,000 (Depending on experience and qualifications)
Schedule: 9/80 schedule—80 hours over nine workdays in a two-week period, with every other Friday off.
