We are currently looking to add a Senior Staff Accountant to our Denver HQ team. This is an on-site position in our downtown Denver headquarters and reports to our Corporate Controller.Position Summary The Senior Staff Accountant plays a critical role in the company's core accounting, close, and financial reporting activities within a private-equity-backed, high-growth environment. This role is responsible for journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules that ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger. The position works closely with the Accounting Manager, Controller, FP&A, and Tax to ensure accurate accounting, strong controls, and timely reporting across the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycles.Key Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for monthly, quarterly, and year-end closeMaintain and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts in accordance with U.S. GAAPPrepare and reconcile intercompany accounts and resolve intercompany differences across entitiesPerform variance analysis and prepare clear flux explanationsAssist with preparation of financial statements and internal management reportingSupport external audits, lender audits, and quality of earnings proceduresProvide periodic support for transaction-related and integration accounting activities as neededControls, Process, and PE ReportingSupport the design and maintenance of internal controls in a private-equity-backed environmentIdentify and implement process improvements to scale accounting operations during periods of growthParticipate in ERP implementations and ongoing system and process improvementsQualifications Required:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance3–6 years of progressive accounting experienceStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAPAdvanced Excel skillsExperience in fast-paced, high-growth environmentsPreferred:CPA or CPA-eligiblePublic accounting experienceExperience in a private-equity-backed or multi-entity environmentOneStream ExperienceERP experience (Sage Intacct, Viewpoint Vista)Why This Role Is Attractive Broad exposure to core accounting and financial reporting in a high-growth companyHigh visibility with senior leadership and various divisionsOpportunity to build deep technical accounting experienceCompensation commensurate based on experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
