Senior Strategic Case Manager
Job Summary
As the Senior Strategic Case Manager, you will serve as a principal advisor and analyst within the Intensive Management Office (IMO), driving the management of the Army's most critical, high-visibility Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases. You will operate in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment at the strategic nexus of security cooperation execution and Army headquarters policy, providing direct, daily support and decisive recommendations to the Army's most senior leaders, including the Secretary of the Army and ASA(ALT). Your analysis will directly influence critical decisions on FMS cases that have a strategic impact on Army equipping, readiness, and industrial base priorities. This role demands an expert-level understanding of the security assistance enterprise and the ability to operate with poise and authority in a classified, deadline-driven environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
executive-level decision papers and briefings to Army Senior Leaders (GO/SES) to provide authoritative status updates on DASA DE&C operations and Presidential Drawdown efforts. Your analysis will provide critical insights and actionable recommendations that shape Army production line priorities and strategic resourcing decisions under tight deadlines.
synthesis of acquisition and delivery data from across the enterprise. Orchestrate a rapid, accurate reporting rhythm to produce integrated daily and weekly products for senior leadership, ensuring decision-making is data-driven and based on the most current information available.
drawdown activities. Prepare for actions by participating in key meetings and
proactively forecasting future drawdowns. Coordinate closely with the Defense
Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) to ensure Army equities are captured prior to the publication of DSCA Execute Orders (EXORDs). Upon receipt of DSCA EXORDs, prepare Department of the Army orders directing the release of defense articles and munitions, coordinate with Army leadership to gain approval, and sync with the Army Staff for follow-on delivery actions. Track the status of defense articles and munitions from authority through final delivery, and accurately develop, manage, and maintain a secure database of drawdown actions to serve as a rapid-response digital archive of approved articles.
oversight of high-priority FMS cases, driving daily and weekly due-outs for senior leadership. Task action items across the enterprise with authority to ensure timely and accurate responses, resolving complex issues before they reach the executive level.

Basic Qualifications

Relations, Business, or a related field is required. Master's degree is highly
preferred.
