Senior Tax Associate

Hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA, we are a mid-sized public accounting firm with a close-knit collaborative culture and the global reach to work with complex and sophisticated clients. Known for our client-focused approach and commitment to delivering practical results, the firm is seeking an experienced Tax Associate or Tax Senior Associate to join our growing Atlanta team. Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual trust partnership and corporate tax returns including workpapers tax projections and other tax planning strategies with accuracy and efficiency
• Research and analyze domestic and international tax issues while drafting correspondence memoranda and other client deliverables
• Develop an understanding of client industries including construction manufacturing and distribution real estate and technology while recognizing key business trends and emerging technical developments
• Provide supervision training and support to engagement staff and interns while building quality client relationships and participating in networking activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; Master's of Accounting or Taxation preferred with CPA license or CPA eligibility required
• 1+ years of experience in public accounting with at least one busy season completed and demonstrated proficiency in individual trust partnership and corporate taxation
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Excellent analytical and technical tax skills with a growth mindset strong commitment to client service excellence and enthusiasm for continued professional education
