Senior Indirect Tax Manager

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 + 20% Bonus

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Indirect Tax Manager:

• Develop tax planning strategies, identify refund opportunities, and minimize indirect tax exposure
• Support acquisitions, due diligence activities, and new market expansion initiatives
• Manage complex state and local tax audits, notices, and controversy matters
• Oversee indirect tax technology, automation efforts, and ERP/POS integrations
• Mentor indirect tax staff while providing executive-level reporting on tax risks and compliance matters

Qualifications for the Senior Indirect Tax Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive indirect tax experience
• 3+ years of leadership or people management experience
• Experience with indirect tax technology platforms such as Vertex, ONESOURCE, CCH, or similar solutions
• CPA, MST, Big 4, or large corporate tax department experience preferred
