    Job Description

Shape the future of advertising by transforming how publishers engage with our video network. As a Senior Tech Business Development Manager, you'll develop and execute growth strategies that expand Amazon"s video network advertising footprint across new markets, customer segments, and revenue streams. You'll work directly with senior leadership to drive meaningful business impact while identifying and evaluating revenue opportunities that transform how advertisers connect with audiences.

This role offers unparalleled visibility and career upside, allowing you to influence Amazon"s video network advertising strategy and help position the platform as the preferred destination for global brand advertisers

    Key job responsibilities

    • Build and own multi-year revenue growth strategies that align with market opportunities, reduce revenue concentration, and maximize advertiser value across all inventory types, locales, and deal types.
    • Align cross-functional teams to ensure execution of strategic initiatives and drive sustainable growth for Amazon"s video network advertising business.
    • Forge and manage relationships with key supply-side partners to enhance Amazon"s video network advertising offerings and expand competitive positioning.
    • Negotiate and execute partnerships that drive innovation, scale, and mutual value for advertisers and partners.
    • Design and execute fill rate optimization strategies across products, including tech stack improvements and activation across customer-facing teams.
    • Partner with Engineers to implement data-driven solutions that enhance ad delivery and maximize revenue potential.
    • Create product bundles and offerings that deliver compelling value to advertisers and supply-side partners across buy types.
    • Lead Amazon"s video network pricing strategy, balancing advertiser needs with platform profitability and long-term growth.
    • Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs to identify and evaluate revenue opportunities across the video network portfolio.
    • Develop comprehensive business cases for streamlined advertising offerings and new revenue streams, ensuring alignment with Amazon"s video network strategic priorities.

    A day in the life

In this role, you"ll focus on identifying and developing revenue opportunities across the video network portfolio. You might start your day analyzing data and market trends, then move into strategy sessions with our Product and Finance teams to evaluate growth opportunities. You"ll spend time building relationships with key supply-side partners, presenting business cases to senior leadership, and collaborating with Sales and Marketing to design go-to-market approaches. Your work spans from deep analytical work-building financial models and market assessments-to high-level strategic conversations about where Amazon"s video network advertising business should head over the next few years.

    About the team

We"re a collaborative group focused on maximizing advertiser value and creating compelling ad experiences across Amazon"s properties. Our team brings together expertise in sales, product development, finance, and marketing to solve complex business challenges. We serve global brand advertisers who want to reach customers in meaningful, measurable ways through live content. Together, we"re working to reduce revenue concentration risk, expand into new verticals, and build sustainable growth that positions Amazon"s video network as the preferred advertising platform for years to come. You"ll work closely with cross-functional partners who are committed to both short-term results and long-term strategic vision.

    About Company

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

    It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

    Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
