Server Assistant/Busser
The Server Assistant/Busser cooperatively works together with staff to provide a clean, safe, quality experience for guests and provides excellent guest service.
- Clears and resets tables, restocks supplies, removes trash, checks restrooms in a promptand accurate manner with full focus on customer service.
- Greets customers and provides outstanding service to all customers and the general public while displaying a positive, friendly attitude and demeanor.
- Assists staff including servers with various needs such as greeting, seating guests and food delivery. Responds appropriately to guests requests and communicates guests' requests to the server as needed.
- Maintains a clean and safe facility.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures to maintain a clean and safe facility.
- Keeps direct supervisor promptly informed of key/significant issues or concerns.
- Carries out duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner to maintain a safe work environment and surrounding area for oneself, co-workers and public. Responds to hazardous situations and/or potentially unsafe conditions by taking corrective action as capable and promptly notifying supervisory personnel.
- Performs related duties as assigned or apparent.
- Prior experience in a restaurant environment preferred.
- Must complete ServSafe program.
- Must be available to work nights and weekends with flexibility for special events.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including employees and the general public.
- Ability to speak and write clearly, concisely and persuasively using correct grammar, spelling and punctuation with ability to communicate one-on-one or in group settings.
- Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and organization.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Ability to perform with considerable independence and initiative.
Work Schedule: Must be available to work a variable schedule to include, mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
