Position Summary: Responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and professional service to guests while ensuring a positive dining experience. Duties include greeting guests, taking and accurately entering orders, serving food and beverages, processing payments, maintaining service areas, and providing knowledgeable and attentive service in a fast-paced environment. This is a union position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve guests in a professional and timely manner.
• Take and accurately enter food and beverage orders.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverages, specials, promotions, restaurant hours, and payment methods.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to promote specials, menu items, desserts, and other offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appropriate stock levels in assigned service areas.
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately and provide proper change.
• Complete assigned opening and closing duties.
• Assist with telephone calls and messages as needed.
• Communicate health, safety, maintenance, and service concerns to management promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned, consistent with the position and applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge:

• Minimum one year of full-service restaurant experience required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to accurately handle orders, payments, and basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Salary Range: $21.69 per hour
