Financial Advisor - Wealth Services

We're seeking a Financial Advisor who will contribute to client relationships, financial strategy, and operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What You'll Do

Responsibilities vary depending on the specific corporate function but may include:

  • Supporting strategic initiatives that strengthen client relationships, retention, and long‑term practice growth
  • Partnering with cross‑functional teams and fellow advisors to deliver a seamless client experience
  • Managing client workflows including onboarding, ongoing service, and follow‑up
  • Preparing, presenting, and implementing customized financial plans for existing clients
  • Providing holistic financial guidance across investments, insurance, and retirement planning
  • Analyzing client financial data to inform recommendations and improve outcomes
  • Attending and presenting at educational workshops for retiree prospects and clients
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and licensing requirements
  • Contributing to a collaborative culture that supports colleagues across Alera Group's national network

QUALIFICATIONS

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience in financial services or advisory roles
  • Active Connecticut Life insurance license
  • Active Series 65 or Series 7 & 66 licenses
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and relationship‑management skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial planning tools used within the advisory function

Compensation:

Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
