    We are currently seeking a proficient Sheet Metal Journeyman to join our team!

    Essential Skills:

    • A minimum of five years of commercial experience in the industry.
    • Experience with various types of ductwork, including TDF, Pittsburgh and snap lock construction, TDC, Duct mate, 22mm, 35mm, S & D, Spiral, Duct Board Fiberglass, and FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic ductwork).
    • Extensive knowledge of local building codes.
    • Basic understanding of OSHA and ADOSH safety requirements as outlined in company policy.
    • Familiarity with shop equipment and basic shop layout and fabrication principles.
    • Proficiency in duct system layout from blueprints and elevation setting.

    Key Performance Objectives:

    • Efficient planning and pre-planning, ensuring meticulous execution.
    • Oversight of the entire duct detailing function, including ordering, coordinating, and inspecting materials for accuracy and completeness to meet project timelines.
    • Coordination of ductwork with other trades and scheduling of subcontractors and equipment deliveries.
    • Supervision of duct, duct accessories, equipment, and related material installation, setting daily and weekly installation goals.
    • Conducting daily inspections for installation quality and safety, enforcing quality standards and code compliance.
    • Inspecting assemblies and installations to ensure conformance to specifications and SMACNA requirements.
