This is not a remote job. This is a business development role for large and complex commercial signage projects.   

Job Summary
Business development responsibilities start from relationship managing through project execution.  This role will focus on large deal, government bid, and muti site location types of projects. There is no cold calling, no commission, not a bait and switch role.  There is project quoting and pricing involved.  You will work in a team with sales professionals, permitting specialists, production and installation.   


  • Manage and develop new relationship with large construction companies, multi housing developers, schools, government agencies, etc.
  • Responds and develops proposals and responses to bids and opportunities.
  • Maintains and updates company marketing materials to adequately tailor for responses.
  • Prices out large projects including signage, permitting, installation and ongoing service.

Required
  • Experience creating and and/or responding to bids
  • Understanding of sourcing and procurement processes
  • Minimum of 3 years in a project management role
  • Excellent communication skills in fluent English, including the ability to present and speak in public
  • Ability to exercise integrity at the moment of choice
  • Ability to think and reason strategically
Desired
  • Minimum of 3 years experience within the sign industry
  • Minimum of three years experience with signage projects
  • Comprehensive computer skills including software (Windows, Office, database experience), hardware, programs, and applications
  • Proven experience in a supervisory capacity
