The Opportunity

Usual Responsibilities

• Run design of experiments and measurement system studies.
• Support audits and corrective actions for quality systems.
• Lead cross functional teams on process improvement projects.
• Apply DMAIC methods to reduce variation and defects.
• Analyze production data to find root causes of quality issues.
• Coach Green Belts and project teams on Six Sigma tools.
• Track project savings and report results to plant leadership.
• Develop and update control plans and standard work.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven record of leading DMAIC projects to completion.
• Bachelor degree in engineering or a technical field.
• Black Belt certification from a recognized program.
• Five or more years in manufacturing process improvement.
• Strong statistical analysis and Minitab skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.
• Master Black Belt or advanced statistics coursework.
• Lean manufacturing experience alongside Six Sigma.
• Background in automotive or medical device production.
• Experience training and mentoring Green Belts.
