Software Engineer

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled professional responsible for designing, building, and deploying cloud-based infrastructure and managed services. The role focuses on achieving scalability, flexibility, and cost efficiencies for both private and public cloud systems that support our business operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Dynatrace, and Splunk
• Proficiency in at least one coding language or framework
• 4 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in development
• 3 years of experience with Java and Python
• Prior work experience in the client's industry or with the client
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with AIPGEE, Java, and API development
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and SRE practices

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and deploy cloud environments and platforms aligned with enterprise architecture and security requirements
• Collaborate with various teams to build and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions
• Monitor system usage to predict future needs and ensure scalable IT resources
• Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code templates
• Integrate enterprise security and disaster recovery policies in cloud configurations
• Design, implement, and optimize cloud-based storage solutions
• Assist in technology strategy execution and implementation of engineering roadmaps
• Evaluate new and emerging cloud technologies for integration into existing systems
