Salary: $75,000–$85,000 + Benefits

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join the culinary leadership team of a highly regarded upscale/fine-dining restaurant in Charlotte. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven culinary professional who thrives in a high-volume, scratch-kitchen environment and takes pride in exceptional food and execution.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations and service
• Lead, train, and develop the culinary team
• Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Oversee prep, line execution, sanitation, and kitchen organization
• Assist with food cost, inventory, ordering, labor, and waste management
• Ensure smooth execution during high-volume services
• Help create a professional, positive, and accountable kitchen culture

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of culinary leadership experience as a Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, or Chef de Cuisine
• Upscale or fine-dining restaurant experience
• Strong scratch-kitchen and high-volume background
• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Solid understanding of food cost, labor, inventory, and food safety
• Hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality and culinary excellence

Compensation & Benefits

• $75,000–$85,000 base salary
