The Chick-fil-A Financial Services Department is made up of many sub-departments that support Chick-fil-A Franchisees and Chick-fil-A, Inc. Sr Accountant, Operator Support
This Sr Accountant facilitates end-to-end restaurant payment processes, provides accounting support, and delivers cash management insights to Operators and business stakeholders. This role is responsible for supporting an assigned group of restaurants through key cash management functions, including incoming and outgoing payment reconciliations, general ledger account reconciliations, cash risk analysis, and accurate, timely reporting on overall restaurant funds management to Franchisees and internal business stakeholders.
This role requires daily interaction with our Franchisees, the individual must have a customer service mindset and will be expected to provide 2nd mile service to Operators, team members, staff and 3rd party vendors.
Job Responsibilities Include:
• Serve as the Restaurant Cash Management accountant for an assigned portfolio of Franchisees, providing cash management support, payment assurance, and timely support
• Analyze and reconcile Franchisee-level cash activity for assigned group of restaurants
• Monitor restaurant cash activity to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating findings into actionable insights for Franchisees and internal stakeholders.
• Deliver cash management training, insights, and best practices to Franchisees through virtual and in-field engagements.
• Perform incoming and outgoing payment and general ledger account reconciliations and exception management, ensuring timely issue resolution and communication.
Sr Accountant, Restaurant Cash Management
This Sr Accountant facilitates and provides accounting support for end-to-end Restaurant payment processes and cash management insights.
This professional level role requires an individual who will provide support for Restaurant Cash Management for an assigned group of restaurants and is responsible for reconciliations related to Chick-fil-A, Inc. and Restaurant related payment activity.
Restaurant Cash Management functions include Incoming and Outgoing payment reconciliations, general ledger account reconciliation, cash risk analysis and providing accurate and timely information around overall funds management to the Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator and internal business stakeholders.

• Performs analysis and reconciliation of Franchisee level cash activity for an assigned group of Restaurants.
• Provides analytical and risk management support for Restaurant Cash Management
• Performs payment reconciliations and analysis for Franchisee, Chick-fil-A Inc., Dwarf House Group and other subsidiaries
• Collection and Application of receivables due to/from Franchisees
• Payment & GL exception management and resolution
Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
• 1+ years of related professional experience
