Sr Accountant - FT - ROC

Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Accountant is responsible for Net Revenue calculations for selected FEDs and prepares related MFR variance explanations that are reported to Acute Regional Finance. Responsible for preparing TX-OK Region-specific reconciliations and correcting entries as necessary. Serves as primary resource to Accountants for daily and monthly Accounting/AR/AP/ PFS/ & Supply Chain processes. Responsible for Region Depository and selected Balance Sheet reconciliations as necessary. Coordinates Internal & External Audit requests. Serves as primary contact for CBO Patient Refunds expedited requests. Participates in Annual Budget preparation. Maintains employee sign-on bonus and escheat schedules. Assists with month-end review of schedules prepared by Accountants. Performs other duties as assigned or required. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Three or more years of experience in Accounting, within a Healthcare setting is preferred 2. Proficient in Account Analysis required 3. Proficient with Microsoft Office Powerpoint & Excel, with emphasis on Pivots & Smart View functions. 4. Familiar with PCBS and other budgeting healthcare software 5. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer. EDUCATION / LICENSURE: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required.
