JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Sr Advanced Manufacturing/Production Operator - Component Level (2nd shift) to work from their Canonsburg, PA facility. Putting quality over quantity, the Sr Advanced Manufacturing / Production Operator - Component Level will perform project tasks/assignments of moderately complex nature ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Basically, you'll perform fabrication or inspection functions in a research, production or pre-production environment by building or integrating hardware for prototypes, assemblies and large complex systems, building RF, multi-function cables and harnesses and soldering ribbons/strip line skills for RF performance.

This position is 100% ON-SITE in Canonsburg PA.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. An AA Degree or certification in manufacturing area preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

What you bring to the table:

• A High School diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. An AA Degree or certification in manufacturing area preferred
• Strong Circuit Card Assembly and component level electronics experience
• Ability to perform more advanced loading and configuring of customer/standard software on customer device
• Ability to perform more advanced fabrication and marking
• Distinct communication and computer skills
• Solid knowledge of Statistics and SPC applications
