This role supports the continued growth of corporate accounting and is responsible for key accounting activities, including cash, payroll, and intercompany reconciliations; capital and expense project accounting; monthly close; and financial reporting.The position initially requires four days per week onsite and transitions to a flexible hybrid schedule of three days per week in the office.Summary of Primary DutiesManage cash accounting activities, including monthly bank, credit card, and SAP Concur procedures and reconciliations.Monitor payroll accounts and partner with Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Cash Management to resolve reconciliation issues.Manage intercompany accounting activities, including monthly billings, monitoring, and reconciliations.Support fixed asset accounting activities, including CIP review, asset setup, depreciation, impairment monitoring, disposals, and variance analysis.Compile and maintain accounting support for audits, surveys, and related information requests.Partner with internal teams to improve existing processes and identify time or cost savings opportunities.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 3–4 years of finance and accounting experience.CPA preferred but not required.SAP experience preferred but not required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and follow-through skills.Ability to complete work in a timely and accurate manner with strong attention to detail.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Collaborative mindset with the ability to bring a fresh perspective and contribute to team goals.Core CompetenciesAnalytical Thinking & Decision Making – Identifies and understands trends and/or issues; connects data points through analysis to arrive at a logical conclusion.Business & Financial Acumen – Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the financial, accounting, marketing and operational functions of our organization; interpreting and applying understanding of key financial indicators to make better corporate decisions.Effective Communication – Expresses ideas and information in a clear and concise manner by tailoring one's message to fit the interests and needs of the audience.Customer Orientation – Keeps internal and/or external customer(s) in mind at all times.
