Summary
The Sr. FP&A Analyst for the Freeman Corporate Operations organization is responsible for executive support across the various Corporate Operations lines of business, revenue modeling, budgeting and forecasting, month-end P&L reporting, travel and entertainment expenses tracking, staffing analysis, and various financial and business ad-hoc analyses. This role provides user support and develop functional knowledge of the Hyperion Planning system.
This position will support our Finance team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of our North Dallas office in Dallas, TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Analyze and interpret financial information to understand and interpret business conditions
+ Build and coordinate Executive presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel
+ Create spreadsheets, charts and graphs identifying financial trends and analysis
+ Proficiently use financial planning systems (Hyperion) to support annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting process
+ Develop and prepare monthly summary financial reports as needed
+ Strategize on financial and business structures to maximize margin
+ Develop ad-hoc management reports
+ Performs other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance from an accredited 4 year college or university is required; MBA Degree is preferred
+ Minimum of three to five years of progressively increasing roles and responsibilities in Accounting or Finance
+ Experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
+ Must have strong aptitude in Microsoft Office products (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint; working knowledge of Hyperion Planning and SAP is preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
+ MBA, CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
