Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Power DC-DC Hardware Engineer to drive end-to-end power delivery design for next-generation server platforms. In this role, you will lead the architecture, schematic design, layout constraint definitions, and comprehensive validation of complex board-level DC-DC converters and voltage regulator modules (VRMs). You will serve as a technical subject matter expert, resolving complex cross-functional challenges and mentoring junior engineers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Power Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on hardware engineering experience with a primary focus on board-level DC-DC power design and server or enterprise computing hardware.
Technical Proficiencies:
Strong knowledge of multiphase VR controllers (e.g., IMVP/VR13/VR14 or equivalent), smart power stages (SPS/DrMOS), and digital power telemetry (PMBus, I2C, SVID).
Proficiency in schematic capture and netlist management tools (e.g., Cadence Allegro Design Entry HDL / OrCAD Capture).
Advanced lab skills using high-bandwidth digital oscilloscopes, electronic loads, programmable DC power supplies, frequency response analyzers .
Solid understanding of server power architectures, enterprise CPU/GPU/memory power delivery constraints, and fault protection mechanisms (OVP, OCP, UVP, OTP).
Communication & Leadership: Proven track record of independently driving power hardware projects, resolving high-impact technical blockers, and collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Salary Range
$155,000 - $175,000
The offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
