At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!
This role is part of Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering (ACE), supporting Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. The team fosters innovation and drives engineering workflows of the future, shared solutions and standards, simplicity and lower costs, and manufacturable design.
As a Human Factors Engineer (HFE) within ACE, part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of Human Integration experts, you will play a central role in ensuring that Blue Origin's space and ground systems are human-centered - actively prioritizing and integrating the capabilities, limitations, and needs of human users into processes, designs, and operations company-wide. Working closely with a Principal Human Factors Engineer, you will develop the HF frameworks, standards, and best practices that program-embedded HFEs and systems engineers across Blue Origin rely on to make human-centric design decisions. You will also provide direct HF support to ACE programs, grounding your enterprise work in real engineering challenges. This is a unique opportunity to shape how a next-generation space company thinks about and practices human factors engineering at scale. Passion for our mission and a commitment to crew and operator safety are essential.
