About the Role
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner serves as a key partner to the Chief People Officer and senior leadership, supporting multiple U.S. business units. This highly visible role helps execute the organization’s people strategy, strengthen organizational capability, and ensure HR initiatives align with business priorities.
The Senior HRBP will provide strategic and hands-on HR leadership across talent management, organizational development, employee relations, workforce planning, change management, compliance, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Chief People Officer and business leaders to align HR strategies with operational priorities and long-term business objectives.
- Lead and support HR initiatives related to organizational design, culture, change management, and continuous improvement.
- Drive talent management processes, including succession planning, leadership development, performance management, and key talent strategies.
- Coach and advise leaders on employee relations, workforce matters, organizational effectiveness, and building high-performing teams.
- Support complex employee relations matters and investigations while ensuring compliance with employment laws, government contracting requirements, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with HR teams across multiple business units to ensure consistent and effective delivery of HR programs and services.
- Monitor HR metrics and workforce trends to identify opportunities and inform business decisions.
- Lead and support cross-functional HR projects and ensure effective implementation and communication across the organization.
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor and subject matter expert to employees, managers, and senior leadership.
- Mentor and support other members of the HR team as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of progressive, broad-based Human Resources experience.
- Significant experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leadership.
- Experience within aerospace, defense, manufacturing, and/or government contracting environments strongly preferred.
- HR professional certification preferred; ability to obtain certification within 12 months of hire required.
- Must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance appropriate to the position.
