Pay Rate: $55.00-$60.00/hr. on W2
Must-Have:
- BS in Engineering/Technical field
- 4+ years relevant experience (or 2+ with MS)
- Laser welding equipment & process development
- Welding materials/metallurgy
- Metal joining for required physical strength
- DOE/statistical methods
- IQ/OQ/PQ process validation
- Weld inspection/Test Method Validation
- Risk analysis
- Laser safety
- Experience with welding equipment specifications, vendors, FAT, and installation
- Strong R&D/Manufacturing collaboration
Preferred: Resistance/ultrasonic welding, laser marking, vision inspection, Lean/Six Sigma, DFM/DFR.
