Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:
- Process invoices, maintain accounts payable records, and support vendor communications
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with cash activity tracking
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Assist with construction loan draw administration and supporting documentation
- Support monthly close activities, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Contribute to audit requests, tax support schedules, and special projects
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Experience with real estate accounting or Yardi software is a plus, but not required
