Staff Accountant

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client in Charlotte, NC. This role with support core accounting functions and contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting. Ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation, at least 3 years of experience, and a desire to grow within a collaborative finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
• Support preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with cost accounting, inventory accounting, and variance analysis (manufacturing-focused)
• Support internal and external audits
• Maintain and improve accounting processes and controls
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Experience working with ERP systems (manufacturing ERP a plus)
• Strong Excel skills; ability to analyze and interpret financial data
• Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven

Schedule & Compensation

• Fully onsite 5 days a week
• $75,000 - $85,000 and a bonus

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
