We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Staff Accountant to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, innovative environment where your expertise in accounting will directly impact our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing industry, a proven ability to analyze data and draw conclusions, and a meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations, including:

1. Analyzing financial data and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
2. Performing month-end and year-end close procedures.
3. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
4. Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
5. Assisting with internal and external auditing procedures.
6. Reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.
7. Collaborating with other departments to improve financial procedures and ensure financial integrity.
8. Using Excel and other financial software to compile and analyze data, and to prepare detailed reports.
9. Communicating financial information to management and making recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets, and expenditures.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2. Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial software.
3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions from financial data.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
5. A self-starter attitude, with the ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
6. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.
7. A thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
8. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
9. The ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
10. A high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
