Staff Accountant

Position Overview

Seeking a Staff Accountant to support general accounting activities, including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis. This role will work closely with the accounting team and other areas of the business to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close

• Complete balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations

• Maintain accruals and prepaid accounts

• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies

• Assist with variance analysis and financial reporting

• Support audit requests and internal controls

• Partner with other departments to gather information and resolve issues

• Assist with process improvements and other accounting projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

• 2+ years of general accounting experience

• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations

• Understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles

• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $82,000.00 per year
