Job Description

A Staff Accountant is a professional within an accounting department responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. They handle routine accounting tasks like maintaining general ledgers, preparing financial statements, and reconciling accounts.

Staff Accountant

Established, Growing, Tampa, FL based, manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team.

(Must have accoutning experience in a Manufacturing Environment)

$80-90K +Bonus and great benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, etc. etc)

New position - the company is in a growth mode!

Major Responsibilities:
  • Monitor accounts and conduct monthly and quarterly reviews
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Profit and loss statements
  • Expense reports
  • General Ledger
  • Project Costing
  • Inventory bill-of-materials/manufacturing accounting
Qualifications

Requirements
  • BS in Accounting or a related field from a 4 years college or university
  • 2+ years of accoutning experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Must have top notch Microsoft exeprience, must be able to create and work with Pivot Tables, etc.
  • Need to have ERP or MRP software experience. Company uses Acuatica
