We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a collaborative environment while gaining exposure to a variety of accounting functions.

OVERVIEW OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• 
  
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• 
  
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• 
  
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other general ledger accounts
• 
  
• Prepare financial reports and support management with financial analysis
• 
  
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
• 
  
• Support annual audits and tax preparation
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• 
  
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
• 
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 
  
• 2–5 years of accounting experience
• 
  
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
• 
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• 
  
• Experience with an ERP system preferred
• 
  
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• 
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
•
